I sometimes add details in the base layer of paint.

These are closeups of “I wanna be a writer”. The whole picture is made by tiny letters and writings.

The finished paiting looks like this:

Dagfinn makes the pattern in the base layer of what is later to become “Let me keep this moment”. (Which by the way is a line from a song of ours, called “Fragile”)

The first people use to ask me is “how did you make this picture?”. The answer is simple. I take som kind of photo (often taken by others, snapshot-like party images is often the best I think), play with it on my computer, print it out, make a grid on both the print and the canvas and then I start drawing on the canvas like you see above. Then I start painting:
