"Blind drawings" is a technique that I learned at Vika Kunstskole. It is very easy and fun, and the purpose is to force your eyes and brain to see what you are actually seeing, not what you think you see. When you do a blind drawing, you are not allowed to look at the paper, only at whatever you draw, and you are supposed to do it really fast. The result is often quite amusing and surprising, and once in a while you actually make something really cool. Try it! I have a special book designated for ONLY blind drawings, and I often make friends and people we meet contribute in the book. It's very interesting to see all the different styles.
